As a real estate entrepreneur with an intuition regarding investments that will attract new tax and sales revenues for a community, Roger Stein is principal and founder of Soho Partners, LLC and Soho Development Co., LLC based in New York City. Mr. Stein has developed, managed and/or owned hotels, residential and/or retail properties in Manhattan, upstate New York, Florida, the Caribbean, North Carolina and Texas. His expertise in the areas of land development and real estate finance give him an edge in creating luxury resort properties that appeal to a wide variety of travelers. When seeking opportunities, Mr. Stein focuses initially on determining ideal locations for appropriate developments within a particular market. He also spearheads land acquisition, procurement of entitlements, assembling architects and the construction team as well as the sales and marketing team.

A member of the New York and Florida Bar, Mr. Stein earned his Juris Doctor in 1988 from Duke University School of Law. Prior to receiving his graduate degree, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.
