Ron Daniels’ career in law enforcement has spanned more than a decade. Currently a Captain with the Harris County Police Department in Texas, Mr. Daniels brings this experience to the security business. He received his police training from the University of Houston, where he finished in the top ten percent of his class. Mr. Daniels also earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice. His education included learning to protect dignitaries, VIPs, and other public figures. Mr. Daniels has also been nominated as a U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Texas. He is a published author who has taught classes at the Texas Crime Prevention Midwinter Conferences.

With this experience and expertise, Ron Daniels launched Millennium Lock Inc. in 2006. The company aims to provide customers with the most durable and well-built locking system available. Millennium Lock manufactures “The Ultimate Lock,” a premium deadbolt lock system that boasts five levels of security. The lock uses a high-security, six-pin technology designed to deter bump-key entries. It features a steel security bar and a specially engineered steel strike plate. The lock withstands up to 4,000 pounds of force in testing. Ron Daniels designed and patented the lock after witnessing countless break-ins during his years in law enforcement. He later received cosmetic assistance for the design from the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program, a cooperative alliance among NASA centers, universities, and private companies that aims to bring space technology to the private sector.

A successful entrepreneur with Millennium Lock and a distinguished law enforcement officer, Ron Daniels tries to create safer environments through other means as well. He has contributed his expertise to the DARE (drug resistance and education) and GREAT (gang resistance education and training) programs. Through Millennium Lock, Mr. Daniels has donated hundreds of locks to Habitat for Humanity International.
