Dr. Ron Lev draws on over 10 years of dedicated experience in the field of anesthesia while practicing medicine for Sleep Anesthesia Associates, an anesthesia provider in New York City. Sleep Anesthesia Associates has multiple offices in the New York City area, where Dr. Lev performs patient care, as well as hiring and scheduling of other anesthesiologists. Over the years, Dr. Lev has set up and maintained the anesthesia services of several office-based practices, including GI, Podiatry, GYN, and plastic surgery. Prior to his station in New York City, Dr. Lev worked at Highline Community Hospital in Burien, Washington as an attending anesthesiologist. Highline has two specialty units, including Adult and Pediatric and Coronary Care. Before working for Highline Community Hospital, Ron Lev obtained his anesthesia residency and four-year internship at the University of Washington Hospital. Ron Lev obtained his Bachelor’s degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1991, following which Lev received his Master’s in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania in 1993 and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School in 1996. Lev’s experiences at the University of Washington Hospital helped him gain an important understanding of anesthesia and the problems associated with a hospital environment’s vast caseload. The familiarity and medical experience Lev gained at the University of Washington Hospital was invaluable to his growth as an anesthesiologist and his current position with Sleep Anesthesia Associates. Outside of his success as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Ron Lev enjoys competing in marathon races, such as the Moscow International Peace Marathon, Washington Chuckanut Drive 50 Kilometer Ultramarathon, and Oregon Sri Chinmoy Marathon. Dr. Lev is also single engine land private pilot and instrument licensed.
