Ron Panarotti entered the journalism field while he was a student at Rider College in Lawrence, N.J.

Ron Panarotti has worked at the Asbury Park Press in Neptune, N.J., for more than a decade. He has held a number of editing positions there; currently, he helps manage the dayside shift of the regional copy desk that produces four of Gannett’s New Jersey newspapers. Ron oversees production of the editorial pages for the Home News Tribune of East Brunswick, the Courier News of Bridgewater and the Daily Record of Morristown. He also is responsible for the Jackson-Lakewood Community Reporter and the Toms River Observer Reporter, two weeklies that are published by the Asbury Park Press.

Before coming to the Asbury Park Press, Ron was a news copy editor at The Press of Atlantic City. Prior to that, he was the special sections editor for Ocean County Newspapers in Toms River. Ron has also earned a Webmaster certification from Ocean County College.

An alumnus of Rider College in Lawrence, N.J., Ron received his Bachelor of Arts in journalism and was honored with the Frederick L. Ferris Award for excellence in journalism over his four years as an undergraduate. Ron was also selected for inclusion in the 1993 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

Ron is a lifelong New Jersey resident.
