Ronald H. Peeler, M.D., F.A.C.E.P. joined Charlotte, North Carolina’s Carolinas HealthCare System and Carolinas Physicians Network after having obtained extensive training, research and experience in the medical fields of emergency, urgent care, and occupational medicine. Dr. Peeler combines a mixture of compassion, professional expertise, and resilient dedication to his profession to provide superior care to all ill and injured patients. In addition to his duties as Attending Physician of Urgent Care, Dr. Ronald H. Peeler has served on the faculty of the School of Medicine at University of North Carolina. As a practicing physician with over three decades of medical experience, Dr. Ronald Peeler has developed a powerful approach in his work, helping patients not only regain functionality in urgent situations, but also helping them better their lives overall. Prior to practicing medicine with Carolinas HealthCare System and Physicians Network, Dr. Ronald H. Peeler garnered invaluable medical experience serving various clinical practices in North Carolina and Tennessee, including Hickory Emergency Physicians @ Frye Regional Medical Center, Erlanger HealthCare System, and East Carolina Emergency Physicians / Medac Urgent Care. Dr. Peeler maintains an extensive background of professional memberships, offices, and committee appointments. Dr. Peeler is an active part of the Drug Information Association and the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators. Dr. Peeler also remains a Member and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. In addition to his vast professional duties, Dr. Ronald Peeler shared his extensive knowledge in the medical field with the Department of Family Practice at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where he served as Adjunct Clinical Instructor from 1996 to 1998. Dr. Ronald H. Peeler earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his M.D. from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and fulfilled his postgraduate training at East Carolina University School of Medicine and Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
