New York realty expert Rosa Karanasos actively participates in the business community in and around Nassau County. After receiving her degree in business administration from the State University of New York affiliate SUNY Sullivan, Mrs. Karanasos moved into a well-rounded career in real estate, holding a series of specialized positions. Starting as a Loan Officer for Olympic Home Mortgage, Rosa Karanasos learned valuable skills in property financing. Loan officers perform important tasks such as determining loan viability and completing in-depth financial profiling to determine applicants’ creditworthiness. Rosa Karanasos then founded Hamilton Equity and Associates Corporation in Elmont, New York. At Hamilton Equity, Mrs. Karanasos acted as a Mortgage Broker. Many of the skills she obtained during her tenure as a loan officer applied directly to her position as Mortgage Broker. Rosa Karanasos developed property loan deals and acted as a liaison between borrowers and lenders to provide the smoothest possible outcomes, with results favorable to all parties. As a Real Estate Sales Agent for Value Lane Realty, Rosa Karanasos gained hands-on market experience, which provided helpful insights for founding and serving as Sales Manager for InterAmerican Abstract, Ltd., a title insurance company specializing in commercial and residential title insurance policies and searches, protecting prospective owners from errors and omissions in a property’s deed. Rosa Karanasos is an active member in The Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce, an organization dedicated to encouraging the advancement of Greek-American business relations and commercial pursuits. The half-century old organization is also involved in promoting awareness, education, and the arts within the Greek community. Additionally, Rosa Karanasos takes part in community service activities for The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Paul, such as fundraising and organizing food distribution programs for people in need.
