Ross Chanin is an Internet entrepreneur.

Menlo Park, California

Ross Chanin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania before relocating to Washington, DC, where he was a speechwriter and researcher for John Kerry for President, then a Presidential Fellow and Research Analyst at the Center for the Study of the Presidency. In 2004, Ross Chanin was awarded both the New York City Urban Fellowship and the Coro Fellowship; in 2006, he matriculated at Stanford Law School.

During his time as a law student, Ross Chanin founded ReputationDefender, an industry leader in online reputation management, alongside CEO Michael Fertik and COO Owen Tripp; he now serves as the company’s Director of Analyis and Planning (to learn more about ReputationDefender, visit www.reputationdefender.com).

Ross Chanin belongs to the American Constitution Society (ACS) and is the founder of the organization’s Bay Area Networking and Development (ACS BAND). Ross Chanin also serves on the Board of Directors of the Campaign for a National Majority and is a Fellow at the Truman National Security Project.
