Mr. Salah Izzedin graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business in New York City with a Master of Business Administration in 1972. Immediately after graduation, Salah Izzedin embarked on a number of entrepreneurial ventures, the first of which was the Latina Oil Corporation. Based out of Central and South America, Salah Izzedin’s company quickly grew into a multimillion-dollar corporation that represented top American oil companies. After more than a decade of success with the Latina Oil Corporation, Salah Izzedin expanded his business, assuming the roles of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Oceanic Oil Corporation, a European oil company with interests in the Central and South American markets. Simultaneously, Salah Izzedin also broke into the entertainment market with new endeavors in Dallas and Houston. Salah Izzedin proved a successful entertainment entrepreneur, receiving attention from Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. In 1995, Salah Izzedin decided to retire from the entertainment industry and redirected his priorities to the restaurant business. Assuming the role of restaurateur, Salah Izzedin founded the Texas de Brazil Corporation in 1998, opening the first Texas de Brazil restaurant in Addison, Texas. Salah Izzedin has since turned the Texas de Brazil name into a national brand and has additionally started expanding internationally with an Aruba-based company.
