Sarah Schupp founded University Parent Media (UPM), http://www.universityparent.com – a company inspired by her own parents desire to know where to shop, eat, and stay while visiting her in Boulder. UPM produces institution-specific guides, e-newsletters and comprehensive Web sites in partnership with universities across the U.S. for parents of college students. UPM enables universities to provide additional resources (at no cost) to parents who are hungry for information.

UPM won the University of Colorado’s Spring 2004 Business Plan Competition and was a finalist for the Boulder County Business Report’s IQ (Innovation Quotient) Awards in 2005 and 2006. Recently Schupp was named one of Businessweek.com’s top 25 Entrepreneurs under 25.
