Sasha-Mae is a renaissance woman born in Kingston, Jamaica and is a 2006 Rhodes Scholar. While attending Brown University as an undergraduate, she founded a new Inter-Ivy organization for black undergraduates and was a radio-dj intern, on-air personality, and poetry performer throughout her college career Her interests are in book publishing, literary theory, and higher education policy in the U.S.
