Saul Garlick, the founder and executive director of the Student Movement for Real Change, is currently pursuing his Masters degree in American foreign policy and International Economics at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to chairing the Board of Directors for the Student Movement, he also serves as Ambassador for the United States for the Buffelshoek Trust of South Africa. At SAIS, Saul is Managing Editor of the SAIS Review. He has worked on Capitol Hill for his representative, Diana DeGette (D-CO) and for the Bureau of African Affairs at the Department of State. Saul is a 2005 Truman Scholar, the recipient of the Hodson Trust Scholarship, the Robert Byrd Scholarship and the DPS Retired Employees Scholarship. Saul expects to receive his BA in May from Johns Hopkins University and his MA in May 2007 from SAIS. When Saul is not involved in politics or busy at school he enjoys traveling, skiing, reading and supporting the Denver Broncos. Saul is currently the executive director of the Student Movement for Real Chage (www.StudentMovementUSA.org) while he is also pursuing a Masters degree in American Foreign Policy at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. |
