A Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, resident, Scott Pyle started ABD Development, Inc., in 1996. Mr. Pyle’s real estate holding firm bought, sold, and developed residential and commercial properties throughout the Southeastern United States. As President of the firm, Scott Pyle facilitated the creation of The International Club, which includes a Willard Byrd-designed 18-hole golf course, and Black Creek Plantation, a gated community with lots that sell for $125,000 per acre and homes valued up to $2.5 million. Since the 2008 stock market crash, ABD Development has partnered with real estate investors to purchase several distressed properties and plans to renovate the buildings to revitalize communities.

Outside of work, Scott Pyle participates in Market Life Ministries. He leads a weekly Bible study for 100 men at a local restaurant. In addition, he served as the Ministries’ Chairman of the Board for four years and presently contributes as a Board Member. He regularly makes donations to Africa New Life Ministries. He and his family attend Myrtle Beach Community Church and he actively participates in other local organizations.

Previously, Scott Pyle worked as an executive for Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. As an undergraduate, he attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He also participated in the Sigma Chi Fraternity, which he continues to support today.
