With more than 20 years of legal experience and an education from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Scott Scurfield helps his clients understand and navigate the complex rules involved in pursuing personal injury and disability claims. A professional with a passion for justice, Scott Scurfield spends his time guiding clients through personal injury cases involving car accidents, dog bites, and premises liability, as well as wrongful death matters and Social Security Disability claims. Prior to his current position with Riddle & Brantley, LLP, Scott Scurfield demonstrated a solid track record as an attorney and handled a significant amount of litigation. In prior legal positions, he successfully represented clients in bankruptcy filings; pursuing Social Security Disability claims; in real estate transactions; and with civil court claims for product liability and employer liability. Scott Scurfield has enjoyed an extensive and varied career, and he remains active in many professional organizations. He offers his support to the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, a nonprofit organization that protects and champions people’s rights through professional and community legal education. Mr. Scurfield likes to stay involved with his alma mater through the University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association, an organization that offers continued education, networking, and career service opportunities to all of its members. In his spare time, he spends time with his two sons and can often be found on the golf course.
