About: Semira Bayati
Dr. Semira Bayati earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine after receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the same school. Dr. Bayati achieved honors for most of her work at Boston University and finished in the top 5 percent of her class. Continuing to refine her skills, Dr. Bayati completed an integrated general and plastic surgery residency training program at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr. Semira Bayati then fulfilled three more years of residency, in which she honed her skills in plastic surgery, and she then entered into advanced studies through a fellowship program at the Loma Linda University Medical Center. Active within a number of prestigious professional medical communities, Dr. Semira Bayati holds membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American College of Surgeons, and other organizations. Obtaining her medical license in Illinois in 1992 and in California in 1998, Dr. Semira Bayati currently operates in affiliation with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. Widely recognized for her talent and dedication, Dr. Semira Bayati completed her certifications as a Diplomate of both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. In addition, Dr. Semira Bayati earned her Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Bayati is the recipient of multiple awards, including first place in the Resident Research Award given at the Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons Annual Meeting. Currently offering her services through Semira Bayati, MD, APC, Dr. Semira Bayati performs more than 500 reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries annually. Dr. Bayati takes personal control for all facets of her patients’ care and oversees Medspa skin care services provided by a certified medical aesthetician. Since her practice’s beginning, Dr. Semira Bayati has seen the business grow each year, primarily through the referrals of satisfied costumers. Dr. Bayati works from her office in Newport Beach, California.

I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon performing over 500 surgeries per year in both the Cosmetic Surgery and Reconstructive capacity. I am one of the few Board Certified female surgeons in Orange County with an impeccable record and reputation. I perform many Mommy Makeovers, Breast surgeries, Body and Face contouring and Facial rejuvenation operations. I am also extremely involved with post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. I am one of the few pediatric plastic surgeons in the Hoag hospital IPA.
I am responsible for all patient care aspects of my practice and overseeing of the Medspa skin care services, provided by a certified medical Aesthetitian.
My practice has grown every year since I started and it continues to grow despite the economy. The majority of patients are referrals from other satisfied patients. I continue to educate myself as the field of Plastic surgery evolves with new techniques and devices and lasers. I have been recognized by Discovery Health Channel as they did two feature presentations that showcased by practice and my body contouring techniques for Mommy Makeover and post massive weight loss.
