In his role as Principal, Shayne Gad has worked with clients in the United States and abroad to support pharmaceutical development in the anti-infective, cardiovascular, vaccine, antiviral, hematologic, and analgesia product specialties. Shayne Gad also developed the rodent functional observational battery, a tool used in neurotoxicity evaluations. Over the past three decades, Shayne Gad has worked for several different firms in the pharmacology, toxicology, and neurotoxicology industries. Some of his accomplishments include the identification and resolution of quality issues for clinical trials and the development and execution of programs designed to enhance preclinical, clinical, and manufacturing stages for pharmaceutical and medical device products. There are several issues that can stall the development of these types of consumer products, but Mr. Gad has been instrumental in steering programs to remain on-schedule while maintaining top quality. He has also held responsibility for the design and reporting of more than 900 studies regarding reproductive and developmental toxicity, immunotoxicity, environmental toxicity, and inhalation as a Study Director. Shayne Gad has served on boards and panels for professional organizations seeking his expertise on various topics. He was a member of the Neurotoxicology Panel for the Science Advisory Board for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He also sat on the Neurotoxicology Risks Assessment Review Panel and the Neurotoxicity Test Guidelines Panel for the EPA.
