Sinohe Terrero is an accounting and finance executive with over a decade of experience in corporate operational finance, public company reporting, and technical accounting. He is currently Vice President of Finance and Analytics with Etsy, Inc., an e-commerce firm focused on the handmade and vintage items marketplace. Since 2008, Mr. Terrero has supported business units worldwide, managing financial planning and analysis through the use of sophisticated and multi-dimensional forecasting models. This involves a comprehensive yearly planning process that sets departmental revenue targets and expenses. Sinohe Terrero has also developed a company-wide dashboard feature that allows web activity and trends analysis by Etsy management.

From 2005 to 2008, Sinohe Terrero served as Vice President at Citigroup Inc. in New York, undertaking controller and CFO duties for a number of public and private companies. In addition to publicly traded companies, he worked with private equity management firms, consolidating entities and a number of multinational subsidiaries. Mr. Terrero’s duties involved preparation of financial statements and footnotes, as well as a detailed technical analysis and accounting with respect to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, convertible debt, stock options, warrants, and FAS 123R disclosures.

Sinohe Terrero held a position as Vice President, Finance with Piquant, LLC, from 2003 to 2005. In this capacity, he maintained responsibility for financial operations of a radio network startup and had oversight of an $18 million annual budget. In addition to developing the firm’s accounting system, Mr. Terrero designed, supervised, and recruited for the IT and human resources operations. He also created a management and finance presentation that was utilized in the firm’s roadshows during a critical $12 million funding round.

Sinohe Terrero earned his accounting degree from Baruch College, The City University of New York, in 2001. He also completed an MBA in Finance in 2011 through the same institution’s Zicklin School of Business. He has successfully passed all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination, and sits on the boards of Etsy Germany GmbH, Etsy Ireland Limited, and Etsy UK Limited. He also maintains affiliation with ALPFA. Passing on his experience to the next generation, Mr. Terrero currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Baruch College.
