He is a notable business professional, with a multitude of credits to his name. Stanley grew up in the hospitality and tourist services realm that led him to build global travel organizations from his roots in South Africa. He currently holds the position of Chairman of the world-acclaimed TTC —The Travel Corporation, a key player in the international travel and tourism industry that serves over a million satisfied customers every year. Stanley has close ties to South Africa, the place of his birth, where he is a strong supporter of local charities. His success began in his early 20s, when he first became a millionaire. Stanley earned an honorary graduate degree from Schiller University and is now a resident of the UK. Professional Attributes Stanley Tollman’s passion had always been in the hospitality trade. Starting with the management of his parents’ hotel and restaurant in his late teens, he quickly had a vision of building a hotel chain, leading restaurants and even importing wine in South Africa. Stanley continued his entrepreneurial skills in real estate by constructing the world-acclaimed Tollman Towers Hotel. It was regarded as the highest building in Africa and was recognized as Africa’s first hotel to be credited by the World’s Best Hotels. The Art of Generosity Stanley Tollman, recognized for his successful business ventures and creative spirit, is also a prominent supporter of charities and charitable foundations especially in his native South Africa. This year, a prestigious group of TTC representatives met in South Africa. In an effort to encourage travel to beautiful South Africa, TTC helped to establish Destination South Africa, to increase awareness and tourism in the state. Conference delegates, family and friends proudly honored Stanley on his 80th birthday. In lieu of his 80 years, Stanley gave back to his community with generous donations to South Africa’s charities—the Amy Biehl Foundation, the Desmond Tutu Peace Centre, and the Make a Difference Foundation.
