Inventor and entrepreneur Stefan Abel currently serves as CEO of Abel Energy, LLC, an alternative energy firm based in Palm Springs, California. Stefan Abel is leading Abel Energy in creating the first fully integrated biodiesel, solar, wind, and diesel-electric energy plant in North America. Once completed, the plant will use power created by solar and wind energy and apply diesel-electric motors to create additional electricity; excess energy will be directed into the local transmission grid. As CEO, Stefan Abel is responsible for supervising all daily and long-term activities and strategies for Abel Energy, LLC. Stefan Abel himself invented some of the technologies that will be involved in the plant project, including a Multiple Feedstock Bio Reactor, which manufactures Bio Fuels, and Magnetic Technology for High Efficiency Power Generators and Motor Drives. Stefan Abel applies years of leadership experience to his position as CEO. Concurrent with his work with Abel Energy, LLC, Stefan Abel serves as CEO of EmsaNet Internet Services, Inc., which provides services to 21, 000 cities in the United States and 65 countries internationally along with email services through MailDistCentral and off site back-up services. Stefan Abel also leads companies including Acme Cigar Products and Neptune Marine Systems, Inc., and he has formerly served as the CEO of the California Kettle Corn Company and Coolwrap Enterprises. In 1990, Stefan Abel established The Abel Foundation, a nonprofit group that provides assistance to handicapped children and their families. The Abel Foundation also works to save horses from abuse and neglect. Stefan Abel continues to serve as CEO of The Abel Foundation to this day. Stefan Abel combines his technical expertise with his desire to improve the condition of the environment in his role with Abel Energy, LLC. The company employs biodiesel made from waste vegetable oils and feedstock, rather than virgin vegetable oils, and over time will use oil created from algae biomasses. Outside of his professional duties, Stefan Abel is involved with and supports numerous charities, including the Make a Wish Foundation, the Sierra Club, and the faith-based nonprofits Knights of Columbus and The Jewish Federation. Abel also volunteers with local community service provider and emergency shelter Martha\’s Village and Kitchen.
