Stephen Scriber, a 2011 graduate of Duke University School of Law, is an associate attorney at Hartman Private Law. At Duke Law, Stephen served as Internal Managing Editor for the Duke Forum for Law and Social Change and Casenote Editor for the Alaska Law Review. He is a former co-chair of Duke OUTlaw. In addition to his work on wills, trusts, and estate planning issues, he has numerous involvements with charitable and nonprofit organizations in Atlanta. Foremost among these is Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. He is also involved with the Atlanta Bar Association, Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia, Gate City Bar Association, and the Duke Club of Atlanta. Stephen is an active runner, having completed several half-marathons and currently training for a marathon, and is slowly picking up rock climbing. Prior to law, he attended Amherst College, where he received an B.A. in Political Science and History, and the University of Mississippi, where he received a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. He spent two years teaching high school with the Marshall County School District and Jackson Public Schools. |
