Rock Vocalist

Rock vocalist Steve Augeri is poised to recapitulate his long, successful career in the music industry with the release of a debut solo album tentatively titled “In The Moment.” Steve Augeri has brought together a talented new band of musicians to support him and will soon set out on a world tour playing new material, as well as highlights from his time as lead singer of Journey, as well as Tall Stories and Tyketto.

Steve Augeri joined legendary American rock group Journey in 1998, following on the heels of Steve Perry. Steve Augeri first recorded with the band on “Remember Me” for the multiplatinum soundtrack of the Bruce Willis blockbuster film Armageddon. For the next eight years, Steve Augeri and Journey toured nonstop, reaching fans across the globe and releasing “Arrival” (2001), the “Red 13” EP (2002), “Generations” (2005), and the ever-popular “2001” live DVD recorded in Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Arena.

Previously, Steve Augeri was best known as the lead singer of Tall Stories, a critically acclaimed New York City-based rock band formed with guitarist Jack Morer in the early nineties. In the mid-nineties, Steve Augeri was invited to front Tyketto, which combined metal and melodic rock influences. The album “Shine” was released in 1995. A second album, “Take Out & Served Up Live” followed Tyketto’s European tour in 1996.
