Steve E. Moss draws on his extensive accounting background and tax law experience to provide consulting services for medium to small businesses and individuals. Steve E. Moss also uses his professional knowledge to provide consultation services and conduct informational speeches for various associations and companies. Steve E. Moss is an independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee that governs the Hatteras Family of alternative investment funds. As an alternative investment firm, Hatteras relies on innovative finance strategies and input from Steve E. Moss and other dedicated professionals. Steve E. Moss works with the Hatteras Master Fund, LP; Hatteras Multi-Strategy TEI Fund, LP; Hatteras Global Private Equity Fund, LLC; and Hatteras VC Co-Investment Fund II, LLC. Moss and the other directors serve as independent directors in an SEC registered fund aimed at developing strategies parallel to university endowment investments. The Multi-Strategy fund is intensely diverse, utilizing hedge funds and private equity investments and servicing multiple asset classes ranging from Enhanced Fixed Income and Absolute Return to Energy and Natural Resources.

Steve E. Moss served as President of the North Carolina Board of CPA Examiners and was a member of several other accounting organizations. Moss has held membership roles in a variety of organizations and spoken to educational institutions, business associations, and private corporations.

Steve E. Moss earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Steve E. Moss continued his education at the American Institute of CPAs, earning his certification in 1980.

In his spare time, Steve E. Moss enjoys fly-fishing, reading, and traveling.
