Steve Neely, a leader in the telecommunications industry, also is involved in several philanthropic efforts. He has served on many boards in his community and has contributed to causes around the world. Mr. Neely was a Governing Board Member of the Chicago International Film Festival, an event hosted by Cinema/Chicago Inc., and served as President of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. Steve Neely also was on the boards of The Executives’ Club of Chicago and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Using the contacts he established in his three decades of experience within the business world, in 2007, Steve Neely opened the Center for AIDS Prevention. Dedicated to raising awareness of AIDS and its transmission in order to help prevent the spread of the disease, the Center for Aids Prevention is one of the world’s first non-profit AIDS organizations. Mr. Neely aided the organization in finding companies willing to provide funding for clinical research to aid the people living in Sub-Saharan Africa. His efforts have assisted in raising awareness and giving hope to exploited children most at risk.
