Stephen Russell is an entrepreneur, investor, writer, and all-around-believer in the power of technology to reshape the world.

Steve Russell is a Silicon Valley veteran with 15 years of experience in building and managing
disruptive technology companies. His expertise lies squarely in content networking, search
technologies and computer vision. He is currently CEO and founder of Prism Skylabs, a San
Francisco technology company that brings physical spaces online.

Prior to Prism Skylabs, Steve founded 3VR, a video intelligence company, and served as 3VR CEO
for seven years. He still holds the position as 3VR chairman. Prior to 3VR, he served as managing
partner at USWeb/CKS (later marchFIRST) and as general manager of the content networking
division at search engine specialist Inktomi (acquired by Yahoo! in 2002). Steve’s role at Inktomi
followed the acquisition of eScene Networks, a streaming media solution company that he
founded in 2000.

Steve holds 11 patents and was named #8 in the American Venture’s ‘Top 40 under 40’ list. He
holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.
