An experienced attorney-at-law, judge, educator, and election supervisor, Steven deLaroche has achieved success in all of these key positions in the courtroom, in both civil and criminal cases. As a prosecutor for the Office of the State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit in Florida, he handled everything from misdemeanors to capital offenses. For five years, Steven deLaroche acted as an attorney-at-law at his own firm, the Law Offices of Steven N.J. deLaroche, concentrating on the same areas he focuses on today: criminal defense and family and business law. In 2000, voters elected attorney-at-law Steven deLaroche to the first of two terms as a County Judge in Volusia, Florida. During his tenure as Chief Administrative County Judge, he reorganized the distribution system of court cases to reflect the population shifts and complexity of issues, supervised eight other judges, and held overall responsibility for the county court system’s administration of justice.

As an attorney-at-law, Steven deLaroche has tried more than 175 cases before juries and presided as a judge over numerous other trials. He also has taught classes for the DeLand Citizens Police Academy and served as an Adjunct Professor at Daytona Beach Community College.
