Specializing in mass merchandise, grocery, drug, and dollar store sales solutions, Steven Manenti helps companies prepare their products for the international market, providing advice on promotion, distribution, and sales. Working with 72 business brokers, his firm maintains 5 regular clients on full retainer.

Steven Manenti joined Marketing Assistance Corporation after retiring as Executive Vice-President of Marketing and Sales with Jel Sert Co., a struggling business that he saved and restored to profitability. He joined the company under a five-year contract, assuming control of the company’s sales, marketing, customer service, packaging, research and development, and advertising. Between 1997 and 2002, Manenti raised company sales from $62 million to over $142 million.

Prior to his work as Executive Vice-President with Jel Sert Co., Steven Manenti worked as General Manager and Executive Vice-President with the Bio Cosmetics division of Mana Products, Inc., from 1993 to 1996, incorporating the company’s successful Black Opal line of skin care products marketed toward African American women. The product line yielded $19 million in sales its 3rd year on the market. Before 1993, he worked as an executive with a number of other corporations, including Slim Fast Foods, Inc; Eclipse Laboratories, Inc.; and TAMPAX, Inc., applying his business acumen to bring new products to the market in every case.

Manenti makes his home in Chicago, Illinois. An avid participant in his local community, he holds a board position with the Lutheran Children’s Memorial Hospital. Additionally, he maintains a membership with the Union League Club of Chicago, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Steven Manenti is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as First Lieutenant with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He holds three Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, and a Silver Star.
