Steven just joined General Mills in brand management as an Associate Marketing Manager in the Meals Division, working on new products under the Progresso Soup umbrella. He spent the first five years of his career in retail at Wal-Mart Stores Corporate Headquarters in Bentonville, AR in a variety of roles, domestically and internationally, from merchandising to financial services to inventory management. His passion after work, however, is technology and using it to empower. He began MicroFinanceMe.com to become involved in the microfinance space. Steven is currently developing SMS Financial Services for the developing world with applications for the developed world as well.
