Raised in a small village near Beijing, I immigrated at nine with my family to Toronto. At seventeen, I founded a humanitarian organization, CABY, doing development work in Africa and Asia. I am studying international relations at Trinity College, the University of Toronto with plans to obtain a degree in human rights law.
