Stop Child
Trafficking Now

new to bigsight

New York, New York

Since 2007, Stop Child Trafficking Now, a non-profit against human trafficking, has been working to address the demand side of child trafficking. The organization’s bold, new approach addresses the demand side of child exploitation and modern day slavery by targeting predators for prosecution and conviction. Because there have been nearly zero convictions related to trafficking children in the U.S. within the last 10 years, human trafficking of a child continues to grow at alarming rates.

SCTNow has launched a national campaign to raise money to stop child trafficking. The money raised goes toward retired elite military operatives that gather information on child predators both in the U.S. and abroad. This information will be used to convict individuals who take part in human trafficking. Working with operative teams means that SCTNow is able to do more to end child slavery and reduce the alarming child trafficking statistics.

In order to raise the money that goes towards the operative teams, SCTNow holds nationwide walks for supporters and anyone else who’s interested in how to stop human trafficking. The first flagship was held in September 2009 in New York City and an additional 40 cities held other walks simultaneously. 2010 walks are slated for October 2-3 and the public is invited to get involved. Additionally, SCTNow also accepts donations at http://www.sctnow.org/.
