A multi-talented and results-oriented professional, Sue Warneke brings considerable expertise in management to her current position as a Certified Insurance Professional for Western-Southern Insurance. In this role, Sue Warneke is responsible for assisting customers with a variety of insurance related tasks, including answering questions about policies, assessing and filing claims, and directing customers toward appropriate plans. Currently, Sue Warneke is licensed as a Wisconsin (non-resident) and Illinois Property, Accidental, Fire, Casualty, Health, and Life Insurance Professional.
Prior to joining Western-Southern Insurance, Sue Warneke developed a variety of important skills through her leading work with the Military Personnel Services Corporation, a private company contracted to the Illinois Army National Guard. Specifically, Warneke served the National Guard as a fulltime Family Assistance Center Coordinator, aiding Army soldiers and their families in receiving important assistance according to various social needs. Sue Warneke also served the National Guard as the leader of the Family Readiness Group, working with 283 families and 186 soldiers deployed in Operation Enduring Iraqi Freedom. For her work, Sue Warneke received a variety of awards, including the 2005 Iraqi Freedom Presidential Award for outstanding accomplishments, the 2004 Patriotic Citizenship Award, and the 2004 Elizabeth Armstrong Award from Illinois National Guard.
Additional positions Sue Warneke has held over her career include stints with MetLife Insurance as a part-time Customer Service Representative, the Freeport Housing Authority as a part-time Housing Eligibility Specialist, and St. Paul Insurance as an Administrative Supervisor. In each of these roles, Sue Warneke demonstrated significant skill in prioritizing responsibilities, coordinating resources, and managing workers. Warneke hopes to leverage her considerable skills into a future career in insurance claims or government service.
Prior to beginning her career, Sue Warneke earned her Associate degree from Highland Community College in Freeport, Illinois. Recently, Warneke completed 80 credit hours toward her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Columbia College.
