I am a mother of three children and when not in Cambridge, live in western Massachusetts on a beautiful small farm. I come to Harvard with a professional background in medicine, health education, and non-profit Head Start agency experience. I am passionate about health, biology and ecology, and am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach biology to adolescents.
Before pursuing a medical and teaching career, I worked on my family’s horse farm raising and training hunters and jumpers. I have lived in New York City, Miami, Savannah and now in Boston. I have also lived on farms in North Carolina, Virginia and New Hampshire. I will always choose the outdoors when I can, whether in the city or the country. I love to travel and meet all kinds of people, though my greatest joy comes from just hanging out with my children-anywhere.
