Throughout her life and career, otolaryngology specialist Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio has maintained involvement in a vast array of academic, professional, charitable, and personal endeavors, attaining a high degree of achievement in each of her pursuits. A longtime resident of the greater Portland, Oregon, metropolitan region, Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio earned her M.D. from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine before commencing a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota Medical School and the Hennepin County Medical Center.

During this period, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio trained under top practitioners in ear, nose, throat, head, and neck surgery at the University of Minnesota. Following the successful completion of her residency, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio moved back to the Portland area to begin a practice in otolaryngology, gaining subsequent Board Certification in Otolaryngology; Head and Neck Surgery; Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat; Facial and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery; and Facial Trauma.

Since the formation of Portland Ear Nose & Throat Specialists in 1999, owner Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio has steadily built a successful practice, delivering expert services in the treatment of sleep apnea, management of sinus discomfort, audiology, head and neck cancer, and pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions. Noted for her proficiency as a cosmetic plastic surgeon as well, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio regularly performs such procedures as full facial reconstructive surgery.

Rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau of Alaska, Oregon & Western Washington, Portland Ear Nose & Throat Specialists maintains affiliation with Providence Portland Medical Center and Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, as well as Portland Adventist Medical Center. Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio is a member of both the American Rhinologic Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Aside from her work at Portland Ear Nose & Throat Specialists, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sycamore Lane Therapeutic Riding Center, which provides therapeutic horseback riding and hippotherapy for children and adults with physical, mental, or emotional disorders and illnesses. Over the years, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio has funded the operation of Sycamore Lane Therapeutic Riding Center through various benefits, including the Sycamore Lane Classic charity golf tournament and the Annual Live Music Event & Country Carnival. Along with her family, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio lives in the Portland metropolitan area.
