Taariq Lewis has been “plugged-in” to the rapid flow of evolving technology ever since he received his first computer, a Commodore 64-C at the age of 16. Taariq attended Columbia University where he learned to hack IRC channels and watch star-trek movies off MIT’s athena webserver as a lab experiment. Taariq gained his first online success launching bringiton.com, an online travel company to Ibiza and SMS2Win, a wireless, advertising-supported text gaming concept. Now, Taariq is spending 2007 and 2008 at MIT Sloan School of Management searching for new technologies that will change the way people interact with information.
