Award-winning radio and television host Teddy Bart earned Nashville Scene’s Best Talk Show Award five years in a row for Beyond Reason, a webcast that covers spiritual and metaphysical topics. Teddy Bart launched the show on the radio in 1987 and online in 2006 while co-hosting Fair Game on Tullahoma, Tennessee’s local Channel 6. After hosting both shows simultaneously for a full year, Teddy Bart transitioned to Beyond Reason full time.

Prior to launching Beyond Reason in 1987, Teddy Bart worked for more than 30 years in broadcasting, winning his first hosting position through a contest as a high school student in 1953. Teddy Bart has since cultivated a successful career as a talk show emcee and moderator, news anchor, and singer-songwriter. Artists such as Johnny Mathis and Brenda Lee have recorded songs originally composed by Teddy Bart as he played the piano for patrons of Nashville’s Printer’s Alley bar. Teddy Bart has also demonstrated his own vocal skills on Don McNeill’s Breakfast Club in Chicago, WSM TV’s Noon Show, and WSM Radio’s Waking Crew, as well as Dick Clark’s Bandstand during its initial stage as a local Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, show.

A talented writer as well, Teddy Bart published Inside Music City, USA, chronicling the history of country music in the United States. Teddy Bart also wrote The Mensh and the recently released A Particle of God.

On Beyond Reason, Teddy Bart interviews weekly guests on topics such as finding happiness, quantum physics, creative inspiration, and the nature of God. Teddy Bart has hosted a variety of speakers, including Deepak Chopra, Richard Bach, and Julia Cameron.

In addition to his work in radio, Teddy Bart has hosted community access television shows such as Teddy Bart’s Round Table, Off Stage, and Live Tonight. Over the course of his career, Teddy Bart has also received four regional Grammy awards for Best Television Commentary.

Today, Teddy Bart spends his leisure time with his wife. Teddy Bart also enjoys reading, listing Woody Allen, Mitch Albom, and Bob Woodward as his favorite authors.
