Teran Evans is 29 years old and has an identical twin brother named Teman. He was educated as an architect and has worked in Europe for famous architects in the past, but his interests are varied. When he and his brother graduated from Harvard in 2004, they started a company called Dioscuri (pronounced DEE-OSCAR-REE) that focuses on product deisgn. The company’s jewelry collection can be found at all Nordstrom stores and has appeared in the Oprah Magazine, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Essence Magazine, Womens Wear Daily, W, and a few others (see www.dioscuri.us). Teran and his brother were also cast members for the summer ‘06 Home and Garden Television (HGTV) design reality TV show hit, Design Star, which landed them press in Time Magazine as well as a billboard in Times Square for a few months.

Teran also acts as a design consultant for The Rockwell Group, a high-profile design office responsible for such projects as The Kodak Theater, and Broadway sets for Hairspray and Legally Blonde.

Teran lives for the arts, so you can often find him at either at Lincoln Center taking in an opera or the NY Philharmonic, or gallery hopping in Chelsea. He is also a classically trained musician and plays four instruments.
