Commencing her career as a Sales Representative for Qwest Communications, Mrs. Terrie Spieker learned the value of communication early on in her professional career. Maintaining the position for 14 years, Terrie Spieker was adept at working with customers to solve problems, correct errors, and provide excellent service. Possessing a desire to help others in a more focused area, Terrie Spieker left her job at Qwest Communications to pursue a teaching career. Enrolling at the Metropolitan State College of Denver, Terrie Spieker studied Education and Special Education. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, Terrie Spieker made the President’s Honor Roll three years in a row. Upon graduation, Terrie Spieker accepted a position as a teacher for Littleton Public Schools. Terrie Spieker’s seven years with the schools were marked with excellent communication between her and her students. An expert at developing dynamic lesson plans, Terrie Spieker ensured that students met their yearly academic aspirations. Preferring a varied teaching style to respect all manner of learning capabilities, Terrie Spieker implemented a wide range of teaching techniques. Terrie Spieker’s success as a teacher led her to pursue a greater range in teaching skill. To this end, Terrie Spieker left her job with Littleton Public Schools to study Language and Literacy at the University of Colorado Denver. She expects to graduate in 2010. Terrie Spieker also volunteers for Light of the World Catholic Church, where she regularly helps people in need by delivering food to homeless shelters and tutoring disadvantaged children. Terrie Spieker also supports charitable organizations, such as the American Heart Association. In her limited spare time, Terrie Spieker enjoys a broad range of hobbies. An outdoors enthusiast, Terrie Spieker takes great pleasure in skiing, biking, hiking, and camping. Terrie Spieker also enjoys reading and scrapbooking.
