The organization facilitates the travel of students and other individuals seeking educational and cultural opportunities. Terry Watson and CETUSA strive to ensure their programs increase cultural understanding for both participants and hosts. Participants in the programs offered by CETUSA are immersed in a different culture while progressing with their education and building professional skills. The goal of the organization is to forge global relationships and improve communication between people of diverse backgrounds. Since 1996, Terry Watson has focused on the achievement of CETUSA’s mission. As President of the organization, he is responsible for the overall direction of all programs, including the management of material, human, and financial resources. Terry Watson also holds responsibility for the strategic direction of the organization and for the creation of major departments and senior staff positions. Mr. Watson additionally oversees the allocation of funds and resources for the maximum benefit of the organization. He acts as a representative of the organization during meetings with government agencies and global partners. The approval of promotional campaigns falls under his purview as well. Terry Watson is steadfast in his belief in the benefits the CETUSA programs offer to participants. This commitment is evidenced in his co-ownership of CET Management UK, Ltd, which comprises exchange programs and educational subsidiaries around the world, including Twin Towers English College, Dr. Frank Sprachen & Reisen, CET Poland, CET Brasil, and CET Baltica. Terry Watson serves as Director for the company and oversees administration and overall operations for all its subsidiaries. Prior to his involvement with CETUSA and CET Management UK, Terry Watson gained valuable experience with educational and exchange programs. From 1991 to 1996, he served as Vice President for the International Education Forum. In this position, Terry Watson was responsible for the management of the Academic Year Program and International Homestays. In 1989, Mr. Watson established his own company that facilitated cultural exchanges through homestays. He remained President of Intercultural Friendships for two years. Earlier in his career, he worked as Associate Director of the American Academic Youth Exchange, assisting with the development of the Academic Year Program under the National Director.
