An accomplished dental professional, Dr. Timothy Byrd brings years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry to his current position as the head of Timothy N. Byrd, DMD and Associates, PC in Woodstock, Georgia. Through his private practice, Dr. Timothy Byrd provides a number of specialized dental services, including crowns, bridges, tooth-colored fillings, root canals, extractions, implants, da Vinci porcelain veneers, Zoom teeth whitening services, and removable prosthetics. Dr. Byrd also offers general preventive care, such as periodontal therapy. Dedicated to offering the highest level of patient care possible, Dr. Timothy Byrd has worked diligently to staff his dental practice with educated professionals and equip his dental practice with state-of-the-art technology. Through his devoted commitment to his patients, Dr. Timothy Byrd has been able to grow his business from a small two-person practice to a dynamic group practice with three separate offices. Dr. Timothy Byrd maintains active membership in the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. Extensively educated, Dr. Timothy Byrd studied at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. An excellent student, Dr. Timothy Byrd was selected to represent his class and the state of Alabama at the national American Student Dental Association (ASDA) conference every year while in dental school. After earning his degree in dentistry, Dr. Byrd took the additional step of completing a residency through the University of Vermont School of Medicine and the Fletcher Allen Hospital. Through his residency, Dr. Timothy Byrd gained significant practical experience in oral surgery, advanced dental procedures, and the management of patients with other medical problems. Dr. Timothy Byrd became the Chief Resident of Dental Surgery at the hospital. When he is not working, Dr. Timothy Byrd stays active by snowboarding, mountain biking, swimming, and running. Dr. Byrd also enjoys classical guitar and spending time with his family.
