Todd Bushta, CPA, is passionate about serving the community, both as a prominent CPA and volunteer for various activities. In addition to an accounting career that focuses on not-for-profit Schools, Governments and charities, Todd Bushta is also a Nationally licensed soccer coach.

Todd Bushta graduated with honors from East Stroudsburg University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. After graduating, Todd Bushta joined the Carbon-Monroe-Pike County Joinder as County Fiscal Operations Officer. The Carbon-Monroe-Pike County Joinder is an organization that helps those with mental health problems to access community resources.

Subsequently, Todd Bushta went on to work for local government, and audited financial statements for several charities, municipalities, and schools in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountains.

In 2002, Todd Bushta founded his own firm, the Accountancy Firm of Todd J. Bushta, CPA, LLC, with the goal of providing the highest-quality accounting services to charities and other community service organizations. Remarkably, Todd Bushta’s firm was the only accountancy firm in Pennsylvania to specialize exclusively in public entities, governments, nonprofits, and school districts.

Since 2009, Todd Bushta has been a partner with the accounting firm of Gneiding, DeSanctis, Blizard, & Company, LLP, in Allentown, PA. A natural progression for Todd Bushta, Gneiding, DeSanctis, Blizard, & Company prides itself on maintaining membership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Private Companies Practice Section. As a partner at Gneiding, DeSanctis, Blizard, & Company, Todd Bushta has been able to further his community-oriented accounting goals by taking on clients such as Schools, Townships, Regional Police Departments, local Airports and Housing projects.

In addition to his accounting work, Todd Bushta is also a National USSF licensed soccer coach and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Member and even a Goalkeeper Trainer. Todd Bushta volunteered much time as a youth soccer coach and camp trainer both at the club and premier levels. A life long soccer player and goal keeper himself, Todd genuinely believes that so many life lessons and be learned on the soccer pitch. As coach, Todd Bushta earned the respect of the club for his dedication to youth soccer and was always a favorite of the players.

Therefore, whether in his professional life or in his volunteer work, Todd Bushta’s career has been characterized by an affinity for community service and high-minded ethics. Todd Bushta believes that personal contributions can make the community a better place, and Todd takes as one of his inspirations Shakespeare’s famous St. Crispin’s Day speech from Henry V: “We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; / For he to-day that sheds his blood with me / Shall be my brother.”
