Financial services professional Tom Householter has worked in the banking industry for three years. Prior to joining Bank of America Corporation’s Simi Valley branch, Tom Householter led a diverse career path, working in the retail, fitness training, and accounting industries. A graduate of California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, Tom Householter earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, before pursuing a job in the financial services industry.

Most recently, Tom Householter served in Bank of America Corporation’s Mortgage Operations sector, where he was largely responsible for tracking and updating loan information. Tom Householter worked to make sure loan papers were processed accurately and in a timely fashion before they were sent to upper management. As an Operations Representative for the Bond Delivery and Bond Post Closing Department, Tom Householter reviewed and shipped bond loans and handled requests for original notes. Tom Householter ensured that all mail from branch offices and housing authorities was properly processed and organized by importance and by state.

Prior to his promotion to Operations Representative, Tom Householter reviewed loan documents in the Master File Auditing Department at Bank of America Corporation. Working as a Risk Control Specialist, Tom Householter checked loan documents with computer records, making appropriate corrections to allow each loan to be sold within a specified period.

When not attending to his professional duties, Tom Householter helps manage his family’s charity, the Householter Family Trust, through which he and his relatives have made contributions to World Vision, Inc.; Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary; Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF); Habitat for Humanity International; and other regional and global organizations.

During his free time, Tom Householter enjoys hiking with his dogs, lifting weights, golfing, and surfing. Tom Householter is a regular attendee of St. Bernardine of Siena Catholic Church, located in Woodland Hills, California.
