About Torrence Boone

Throughout his career as a business leader in the marketing and advertising industry, Torrence Boone has demonstrated his ability to adapt businesses to emerging technologies. Torrence Boone received a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Stanford University in Economics, and began his professional career at Bain & Company, a premier strategy consulting firm. After completing his Master of Business Administration at Harvard University, Torrence Boone returned to Bain & Company and progressed to Senior Manager.

As a Senior Manager, Torrence Boone's duties were focused on leading corporate and business unit strategy in the pharmaceuticals and consumer products sectors. Following this position, Torrence Boone moved to Avenue A, now Razorfish, in New York City. At the digital media firm, he accepted the role of Vice President and General Manager, taking charge of operations involving strategy, media, and creative services. Following Razorfish, Torrence Boone spent 7.5 years at the digital marketing firm, Digitas, where he led the agency's flagship office in Boston as President. Torrence Boone next served as the founding Chief Executive Office at Enfatico, an integrated marketing agency constructed by WPP to serve the advertising needs of Dell Inc. This next-generation agency scaled to over 1,000 employees globally and shepherded Dell's $4.5 billion contract from its inception. Enfatico currently operates under the auspices of Young & Rubicam Brands.
Today, Torrence Boone serves as the Managing Director of Agency Development at Google, where he guides the company's business with advertising firms in the Americas. In this role, Torrence Boone works with diverse agency partners to develop transformational ideas and breakthrough marketing strategies for their shared clients, leveraging Google's broad portfolio of products and platforms. When he is not negotiating large-scale deals between Google and its clients, Torrence Boone enjoys rock climbing, writing, and yoga. He currently serves on the board of The Joyce Theater in New York.
