Respected Soccer CoachNorfolk, VirginiaNot only is Trevor Adair one of the nation’s leading collegiate men’s soccer coaches, but he also has considerable experience mentoring in other soccer programs. Currently an Assistant Coach at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, Trevor Adair is also a Staff Coach with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He holds a Class “A” license with the USSF. For 27 years, Trevor Adair has served the United States Youth Soccer Association’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) in Regions I and III. He is currently the Head Coach of the 1996 ODP Pool in Region III. Trevor Adair has already made an impact at Old Dominion in his second year. In addition to coaching practices, analyzing games, and monitoring student academics for the Monarchs, he helped take the team to a second-round appearance in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament. Prior to his experience with the Monarchs, Trevor Adair served as the Head Soccer Coach for the Clemson Tigers in South Carolina for 16 years. Adair accumulated a 174-19-26 record, took one team to the NCAA Final Four, and helped one player, Wojtek Krakowiak, win the prestigious Hermann Trophy. The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) named Trevor Adair its Coach of the Year twice and awarded 47 All-Conference selections to his players. Fourteen of Adair’s players received All-American honors. Also strong in academics, Adair’s team maintained at least a 3.1 grade point average (GPA) for five straight seasons, the best such record among Clemson men’s sports. Trevor Adair came to Clemson from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He inherited a losing program but turned it around to win the Ivy League Co-Championship in 1994, the school’s first since 1976. The Bruins upset first-ranked Boston University in the NCAA Round of 16, and Trevor Adair was named the conference Coach of the Year for his achievements. Trevor Adair's Schools
