Real Estate Developement paycheck supports abolitionist habit

Trevor Hightower has a unique history of military, corporate, and entrepreneurial leadership. A graduate of the Untied States Air Force Academy Trevor was a lead contracting officer responsible for the government funding and acquisition of the Lockheed Martin Atlas V launch vehicle. Following his career in the Air Force, Trevor co-founded and operated an internet meal delivery business based in El Segundo, CA. During his entrepreneur stint he was hired by the defense contractor Raytheon to work finance solutions for multiple Raytheon contracts with the Department of Defense. Leveraging his experience in the government and private sectors, Trevor went into real estate development, responsible for the board approval of new developments, for a mid cap private Real Estate Investment Trust. His experience working for the government also led to the project management of the company’s California development projects which require a very close interaction with city administration. Throughout his career, Trevor has emphasized the importance in growth of leadership and character and the benefit of personal growth to both public and personal life. From being elected by his teammates and coaches as a captain during both his Junior and Senior year on the Air Force Academy football team, to helping in the start up of a foundation that aims to rid the world of the crime of human trafficking, Trevor has studied and applied best practices in leadership and management throughout his adult life. He was an Honor officer of his squadron at the United Air Force Academy, holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount Universty in Los Angeles, and was awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and the National Defense Service Medal. In his free time he enjoys heading up the marketing of the Somaly Mam Foundation, a 501-3C devoted to ending the practice human trafficking. He is also part of the board of GlobalFast, a movement that encourages people to fast one meal a week and to donate that saved cost to promote growth and aid in third world countries. Global Fast, a 501-3C, donates 100% of donations to charity and hopes to make sacrificial giving a social norm that brings about tremendous positive change. Trevor brings to his work powerful leadership, energy, drive, and an unstoppable commitment to success.
