Political Staffer with SEIU, Service Employee Int'l Union
Tristan Brown earned a B.A. in Government from the University of Redlands, specializing in campaigns and elections and political theory. After a successful campaign managing a heated mayoral race, and learning much more from a state senate race, he joined the labor movement with America’s largest and fastest growing Union, the Service Employee International Union. Now working at SEIU Local 6434, the United Long Term Care Workers Union, he manages the political program for the 45,000 member California United Homecare Workers Union, which spans across 25 counties in California. He enjoys educating members in political science, current affairs, political fundraising, community organizing and lobbying in Sacramento and Washington D.C.
