Tyrone Merriweather is known for his creativity, innovation and energy. He has a long career in professional basketball making an impact in such countries as Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Turkey and the United States. His talents continue to be in-demand today.

His work in feature films such as Like Mike, popular television shows like Reno 911, as well as dozens of television commercials including AT&T, Miller Beer, And 1, Reebok, Taco Bell, Spalding, Gatorade, Nike, Sprite, Dasani, and print campaigns for Powerade, New Balance and EA Sports make him recognizable all over the world.

With a life-long love of hip hop and the rap name of MC Rockfish, Tyrone was featured on legendary Los Angeles radio station KJLH as early as 1991. Tyrone now continues his creativity in the form of writing innovative television shows, screenplays and short-films for a variety of media platforms.

Born in Florida and raised in Indiana, Tyrone moved to California to study television and radio broadcasting at Cal Poly Pomona where he also played basketball for the Broncos.
