The Patsy’s Closet Foundation was created to assist those who have been displaced from work and cannot afford to purchase work clothes or interview attire. This organization operates as a support in the community to bridge the gap in assistance for our unemployed and displaced workers. One of the organization’s most important initiatives is its interview preparedness program. This program helps our client in answering the question – “Now that I have gotten the interview, how can I get clothes that are interview ready -so I can get the job?”

The http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Job_interview is available at the organization’s Main Service Center in Atlanta. The volunteers work with both men and women to assist each in their journey of getting back to work. At the center, individuals may get assistance in job training opportunities, engage in various workshops, and seek basic medical services. To provide success for the client, a Patsy’s Closet volunteer works closely to identify any problems and create an achievable solution, giving them back the reigns to their lives.

This Foundation was created to assist the community in taking an active role in getting the unemployed and under employed citizen back to work. The Mission for this organization is “One Citizen Helps the Next”.
