Over the course of her career in financial services and education, Vicki Kasomenakis has amassed a number of notable accomplishments, building a solid track record in her field. A longtime resident of the greater New York metropolitan region, Vicki Kasomenakis attended Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY), where she earned her B.S. in Accounting. Following her graduation from Queens College, Vicki Kasomenakis secured admission to Long Island University C.W. Post Campus and commenced advanced studies in accounting and finance. In May 1992, Vicki Kasomenakis graduated from Long Island University with an M.S. in Accounting and thereafter gained licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Following graduate school, Vicki Kasomenakis embarked on a diversified career path, with substantial work in the areas of financial planning and accounting education. As a Financial Planner with Scifo Legacy Planning, LLC since 1995, Vicki Kasomenakis focuses her time and energy on a comprehensive menu of estate planning services designed to preserve and grow wealth for clients throughout the New York area, with a particular emphasis on strategies to avoid probate, save on estate taxes, and protect assets. In tandem with her work at Scifo Legacy Planning, LLC, Vicki Kasomenakis spent 6 years as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the CUNY system, during which time she taught at Queensborough Community College in Bayside. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Vicki Kasomenakis performed as Faculty Mentor for the Business Society, a student club at Queensborough, and Chair of the school’s Ceremonial Occasions Committee. Vicki Kasomenakis holds membership in The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Long Island, the C.W. Post Tax & Accounting Institute at Long Island University, and the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA).
