Currently a Senior Managing Director of Ubequity Capital Partners Inc., Victor Labi brings more than 20 years of finance experience to his professionals endeavors. Knowledgeable about private equity and physical commodities, Mr. Labi has committed his career to the expansion and development of small-cap, growth-stage companies.

After studying business, economics, and finance at Northeastern University, Victor Labi began his work on Wall Street, where he served a number of firms as a Broker and Trader. Over the course of his career, Mr. Labi has yielded hundreds of millions of dollars in capital growth for clients, improving company valuations and facilitating additional expansion. Based on his knowledge and experience, Mr. Labi has acted as an adviser for companies engaged in the natural resources, energy, and technology industries.

Although his chief responsibilities at Ubequity include managing the company’s New York City commodities base and overseeing a global team, Mr. Labi has assumed myriad additional tasks for the firm. While contributing his expertise to the company’s private equity work, Mr. Labi has established relationships with many of the world’s premier commodity trading houses, Fortune 500 companies, and sovereign wealth funds.

Since joining Ubequity in 2010, Mr. Labi has directed transactions involving physical commodities, such as crude oil, iron ore, rice, and soybeans. At present, he leads the purchase of interests in producing oil fields and mineral mines to expand Ubequity’s commodities division.

Mr. Labi is bilingual in Hebrew and English and resides in New York City. Outside of work, Mr. Labi’s interests include travel, golf, and tennis.
