Victor Roy is currently the full-time Executive Director of GlobeMed. Based in Evanston, IL, GlobeMed is a non-profit organization that connects student teams to grassroots organizations in developing countries and trains a new generation of leaders for global health. As Executive Director, he works with a network of thirteen student-led chapters at universities across the US to support collaborative projects in partnership with these grassroots organizations – such as constructing health centers to organizing prevention programs – that make a direct and positive impact.

Victor is interested in global health and political science, loves playing the tabla, and keeping up with his favorite sports teams.

He graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University in 2007 with a B.A. in Political Science. He is enrolled in the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern (currently on deferment), a seven year B.A./M.D. degree program and has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
