Vikram G. Jhaveri first exercised his unique entrepreneurial vision while studying Business Administration and Finance at Chico State, where he started several different businesses. Vikram Jhaveri currently serves as a Management Trainee with Orbit Corporation, a Mumbai-based real estate development firm. In his position with Orbit, Vikram Jhaveri provides consulting services in an array of project areas, ranging from rate cost analyses and source selection plans to policy classification and work breakdown structures. Before joining Orbit, Jhaveri offered similar management solutions as a Cost Consultant for Joti Foam Products, another Mumbai business. Vikram Jhaveri began his academic career at Illinois State University, where he studied Engineering Physics. After several years, Jhaveri shifted his academic focus to align with his entrepreneurial endeavors and transferred to California State University, Chico, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. Jhaveri excelled during his undergraduate studies, and before moving to Chico, he was awarded Illinois State’s George Skadron Computational Physics Award. Vikram Jhaveri remained academically and professionally active throughout his time at Illinois, serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and participating in a NASA-funded physics research project. Through his research efforts, Jhaveri helped Illinois State professor Dr. Holland examine cluster and geotail data in an attempt to formulate solar storm predictions. Vikram Jhaveri managed an extensive course load at Chico, which helped him transition smoothly into consulting and management positions with large Mumbai businesses. Jhaveri focused on a variety of academic fields in Chico that helped him develop a unique understanding of finance and business that bridged the gap between theory and practical application. Jhaveri conducted coursework in International Finance, Estate Planning, Investment Analysis and Policy, Macroeconomic Analysis, Operations Management, and a several other integrated finance and business administration specialties. In his spare time, Vikram Jhaveri enjoys playing tennis, computer games, and watching movies.
