Molecular biologist Vipul Bhrigu enjoyed an eight-year career in biomedical research before returning to his native India in 2011. In his current role, Vipul Bhrigu generates new business leads and revives stagnant projects through capital infusion and business networking. Bhrigu also delivers technical seminars for staff and prospective clients, stimulating scientific discussions that often initiate new projects.

Vipul Bhrigu began his studies at the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Chemistry, and Biotechnology. At Bangalore University, Vipul Bhrigu focused exclusively on biotechnology, completing laboratory research on the genetics of fragile X syndrome. Vipul Bhrigu proceeded to The University of Toledo in Ohio, where he completed seven years as a Predoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biochemistry and Cancer Biology. Bhrigu’s cancer research focused largely on the adeno-associated virus, a virus that infects humans and animals but is nonpathological and therefore considered a prospective candidate for gene therapy.

In 2009, Vipul Bhrigu earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Toledo and proceeded to the University of Michigan to engage in research on the huntingtin protein. Vipul Bhrigu has authored and co-authored research articles that appeared in the medical journal Virology, and he has presented his work at major conferences and seminars, including the XII Parvovirus Workshop in Córdoba, Spain. In 2006, the Medical University of Ohio awarded Bhrigu a Certificate of Research Excellence for his poster presentation addressing adeno-associated virus vectors for cancer-gene therapy.
